    The Joanina Library requires a separate paid ticket booked in advance. You can visit during or after the tour. If you visit during, I'll explain everything beforehand, walk you to the entrance and wait outside — the library staff controls the visit, which lasts exactly 20 minutes.

    A basic level of comfort with walking is enough. Coimbra has hills, stairs and cobblestone streets, so comfortable shoes are recommended.

    Both tours are walking tours through Coimbra's historic centre. Many of my guests are between 65 and 88 years old. We walk at a comfortable pace, pause whenever needed, and adapt the route to your comfort. You will never feel rushed or out of place.
