A basic level of comfort with walking is enough. Coimbra has hills, stairs and cobblestone streets, so comfortable shoes are recommended.

Both tours are walking tours through Coimbra's historic centre. Many of my guests are between 65 and 88 years old. We walk at a comfortable pace, pause whenever needed, and adapt the route to your comfort. You will never feel rushed or out of place.

The experience runs in light rain — please bring appropriate clothing. In case of severe weather, we can reschedule or offer a full refund.

All tours are conducted in fluent English. Mateus is a native Portuguese speaker and an upper-level student at the University of Coimbra, ensuring excellent communication and authentic local insights.
